Social anxiety. But Why?

According to the World Health Organization, anxiety disorders affects an estimated 3.6% of the world population. The celebrities are far for being immune of this trouble. Many celebrities has spoken about their social anxiety but no actions has been taken to help the stars. They can’t eat at a restaurant without a crowd of people staring at them, they can’t take a walk without a body guard to watch their back from fans and paparazzi. Moreover, their families are affected due to the fans’ intensity and non respect. Johnny Depp has spoken about the loss of his anonymity being uncomfortable and preferring to stay home versus eating out at restaurants, because of a preference for not being recognized.He’s one of many celebrities who social anxiety affects their every day life. The unique solution for them is to stay away from their fans and to deprive themselves from the beauty of enjoying life like anyone else.

  1. Thanks for sharing this interesting blog! I think the main issue is that celebrities are uncertain if whoever surrounds them in public is a true fan, so that is why they always have anxiety because they don’t know people’s reaction.
